Decaf Blend

JONO'S Decaf Blend is a smooth, full-bodied coffee, decaffeinated using the Swiss Water Processing method which means there are no harsh chemicals used to extract the caffeine and none of those horrible flavours that they often leave behind. Read more about the decaffeination HERE.

We've roasted this coffee a little darker to even out the flavours which gives it a low acidity and a long toffee finish. 

This coffee works well as both espresso or as a fresh filter brew.

This blend is made up of two incredible Colombian coffee beans. One of which is from the mountainous region of Huila in the southwest of the country nestled on the flank of the Andes near the Nevado del Huila volcano, the second highest peak in Colombia. The rich soils and lush climate are ideal for coffee growing and the area is renowned for their specialty grade and award winning beans. 

The second coffee comes from the world-famous Medellin. Coffee from Medellín, Colombia is known for its rich, smooth flavor and its high quality. The city of Medellín is located in the heart of the coffee-growing region of Antioquia, which is known for producing some of the finest coffee in the country and the world.

The coffee grown in and around Medellín is prized for its mild, well-rounded flavor and balanced acidity. The region's unique climate and soil conditions, combined with careful cultivation and processing methods, contribute to the distinctive flavor profile of Medellín coffee.
